Shortswords are only equippable by Rogues. They have 205 base Attack Speed, and when equipped, they grant the player the Speed Surge skill that temporarily boosts attack speed by 1/3 for 30 seconds, with a 40 seconds cooldown period.
- If the player changes equipment while the buff is still active, they will lose the speed buff and will not be able to use other weapon skills for the remainder of the 30 seconds timer.
