Mimic Gear

Mimic Gears are wearable cosmetics in Eterspire which players have the ability to create. Simply take the desired Normal or Excellent Weapon or Armor Piece obtained from any mob or boss kill, gather the appropriate mimic recipe materials, and infuse these all together at an Upgrade NPC (Town Smith).
It's actually a lot easier then it sounds! Check out the steps below.
Note: Any weapon or armor piece transformed into a cosmetic will permanently remain a cosmetic and it's stats will no longer be of any value.
The process for transforming your desired weapon or armor piece into a cosmetic is as follows.
In order to make your weapon or armor piece transmogrify into a cosmetic you will need three additional recipe materials. The first and most important material is the Essense of Mimicry. This can be acquired by teleporting to the map, Old Guswacha's House, located in the region, Old Guswacha's Firefly Forest. Once you have arrived, you must find the npc Old Guswacha. She is located near the cross roads standing next to her boiling cauldron. Simply talk with her through the dialog until you see an option, "do you have anything for sale". Click this option and her shop will open.

Once the shop interface has popped up, you will notice there are two options for sale. You will be focusing on the first item which is Essence of Mimicry. This essence is the building block of this three part recipe and is currently available for purchase with 100 coins. Please note; you will need one essence for every armor or weapon you wish to transmogrify. You may buy multiples and store them in your bank, however, note that these essences will take up inventory and bank space.

A Shard is the next required material in the recipe list. Shards can be obtained from fighting mobs, completing hunts and quests, or by trading with other players. The shard needed each time may differ, and will depend on the Tier of your weapon or armor piece. You will need to inspect the weapon or armor piece you would like to transmogrify, and read the first description line to see what shard must be used. In the example picture, we see that in order to transmogrify this excellent frozen shield we will need one Azurite Shard.

Once you have an Essence of Mimicry, and a Shard of proper item level, you must acquire the third and final material, a Rune Stone. Rune Stones can be easily purchased for 5 coins each at the following two maps which are accessible within the main town of Stonehollow.
Tarrasaga's Abode > Speak to Tarrasaga.
Heroes Hall Tavern > Go upstairs and speak to Tarraga.
There's also a chance to acquire rune stones from mysterious items that appear randomly on maps, but this is not an efficient way to collect them.
Once all necessary materials are acquired, put them in your inventory and head to Tarasaga's Abode or the Heroes Hall Tavern. Once there, locate the Transmogrification Table. Open the table interface and place your 1 Essence of Mimicry, 1 Shard of proper item level, and 1 Rune Stone, then click Transmogrify. The items will combine and turn into a Mimic Rune.

IMPORTANT NOTE; If you use a different shard then stated on your specific item, you will not be able to create a cosmetic from your desired item. This is because each shard tier will produce a mimic rune which is specific to that tier. Always double check you are using the right shard to avoid reruns.
Once this Mimic Rune is acquired, simply head over to any towns Upgrade NPC (Smith) and open their interface. Then pick the item you would like to turn into a cosmetic and click select. Once the item is in the upgrade interface, find the Mimic Rune we just created and place it in with the item and click upgrade. Once this completes, your item has turned into a cosmetic! This item will now appear in your cosmetic inventory slot and can be worn on top of your highest level gear!

congratulations! You have made your first of many cosmetic items! All mimic gear and weapon cosmetic will take up 1 inventory or 1 bank slot for storage each. "In game store purchasable cosmetics for gems will NOT take up any inventory or storage space in bank".
It is important to note; you may UPGRADE your mimic gear the same as normal gear either before or after you make them a Mimic gear piece. Simply take the item to any Upgrade NPC (Smith) and follow the same upgrade instructions as prompted in the interface. It is also important to note here that armor and gear have visual aura changes upon reaching certain upgrade milestones. These are most noticeable at upgrade levels +5, +7, and +10. For example. Pictured below is a Mimic cosmetic set of spiked excellent bronze at all +10. The armor has shifted from its standard excellent level 0 upgrade of light brown to a shining beam of yellow light with electrical pulses. So keep this in mind when putting together the best set you can!

In conclusion; MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE PROPER SHARDS BECAUSE EACH MIMIC WILL BE UNIQUE UNLESS YOU ARE USING SAME LEVEL RANGE GEAR.
The world of Eterspire thus far has many valiant choices for mimic cosmetics. Any piece of gear, be it regular quality or Excellent variants, can be turned into a wearable cosmetic over your highest stat armors and weapons. It is worth revisiting previously treaded zones and picking up all of their gear drops for cosmetic mix-matchups to create the most unique standout!
