Skills

In Eterspire, character abilities are not tied to levels or skill trees. Instead, the skills your character can use are determined by the weapon system. Each weapon has its own unique skill that becomes available when equipped.

Weapon Types by Class:

  • Guardians and Warriors: Can choose from five different weapons.
  • Rogues: Have access to four distinct weapons.

Each weapon’s skill can be cast at any level, as long as the appropriate weapon is equipped. Skills remain usable even if the weapon is swapped after activation.

Key Features:

  • Weapon-Based Skills: Abilities are unlocked based on the weapon equipped, not character level.
  • Skill Availability: Skills can be used from any level, provided the correct weapon is equipped.
  • Weapon Swapping: Weapons can be swapped after activating a skill, allowing for flexible combat strategies.

Guardian

Weapon Type Skill Description
Warhammers Seismic Slam Drop from above, causing massive Aoe damage forward
Maces Heal Restore 10% of your Max HP
Battleaxes Shield Bash Bashes with a shield, Dealing damage
Bardiches Guardian Sound Reduce damage taken for 30 seconds
Wideswords Sweeping Edge Slashes enemies with a wide Aoe

Warrior

Weapon Type Skill Description
Claymores Whirlwind Spins, damaging nearby enemies
Broadswords Heavy Strike Slams the ground, dealing damage
Halberds Battle Surge Increases Attack Damage for 30 seconds
Tridents Trident Thrust Leaps forward, stabbing enemies
Longswords Wind Cutter Fires a projectile that harms enemies

Rogue

Weapon Type Skill Description
Shortswords Speed Surge Boosts Attack Speed for 30 seconds
Swords Wind Slash Launches a projectile that cuts through enemies
Daggers Dagger Lunge Swiftly stabs ahead
Curved Daggers Spinning Slash Spins rapidly, damaging nearby enemies

Combat Ability Tree

Abilities are unlocked through the Ability Tree. At certain level milestones, players will choose one of three abilities.

Level 7
Increased Strength I

Increases Strength by 3 and Damage by 3%

Increased Vitality I

Increases Vitality by 5 and Maximum Hitpoints by 5%

Increased Attack Speed I

Increases Attack Speed by 5%

Level 15
Critical Hit

Grants 15% chance to critically hit when attacking. Critical hits deal 1.5 times the damage of regular attacks

Evasion

Grants 15% chance to evade an attack,

taking no damage.

Troll Blood

Triples health regeneration rate

Level 25
Increased Strength I

Increases Strength by 8 and Damage by 5%

Increased Vitality II

Increases Vitality by 15 and Maximum Hitpoints by 10%

Increased Attack Speed II

Increases Attack Speed by 10%

Level 35
Lifesteal

Grants 20% chance to heal when attacking. Heals 75% of the damage dealt. Healing is halved against bosses.

Block

Grants 35% chance to block an attack, taking half the damage

Quick Feet

Increases Movement Speed by

15% and Attack Speed by 10%

Level 45
Increased Strength III

Increases Strength by 15 and Damage by 7%

Increased Vitality III

Increases Vitality by 30 and Maximum Hitpoints by 15%

Increased Attack Speed III

Increases Attack Speed by 15%

Level 55
Flame Weapon

Grants 15% chance to attack with fire, dealing twice the damage


Reflect

Grants 20% chance to damage an opponent after getting hit. The damage dealt is 1.5 times the damage received. You will still receive the full damage of the attack.

Luck

Makes your chance-based skills trigger 10% more often. You will also get an extra 25% chance of finding

Excellent items.

Gear

Gear in Eterspire is obtained from Merchants, Monsters, and Remnants. Gear is divided into tiers, each corresponding to a level range and metal Shard.
